Science Center Universum Bremen

The Science Center Universum® Bremen undertakes to make it possible for visitors to examine scientific matters about human life in an active and emotional manner in the area of tension that exists between nature and technology. With the help of more than 300 exhibits, phenomena from the natural sciences can be explored using hands-on objects and media stations.

The design of the new exhibition at Universum® Bremen responds to the circular building envelope with complementary asymmetrical forms, and its fresh colour scheme creates an open, bright and lively atmosphere. The overall concept aims to communicate the exhibition contents and their scientific backgrounds in a clear and sustainable manner using various media, objects, multimedia exhibits, texts and graphics. In this way, the different complementary elements allow visitors to gain a more in-depth look at and understand even complex topics by experiencing the exhibition using all of their senses.
