Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten – Restaurant “Grill”

The GRILL restaurant in Hamburg’s “Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten”, designed by architect Emil Fahrenkamp in 1926, has undergone a stylish redesign. During the renovation, the original design was carefully preserved so that tradition and modernity merge into a harmonious whole. Modern works of art combined with a design language inspired by Art Deco and carefully coordinated details create a bridge between tradition, comfort and stylish elegance. The restaurant with the adjoining Oval Salon was expanded to include a Martini and Oyster bar and experienced its grand opening in September 2023 under the leadership of restaurant manager José Luis dos Santos.

Interior spaces
To emphasize the cosy and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, warm colors such as olive green and dove blue and the beautiful Caucasian walnut were chosen for the materials. Works of art by Jorinde Voigt perfectly complement the design. The interplay of historically inspired design elements and contemporary art makes the history of the place palpable and yet locates it in the modern age.
